40 kg in four months
Hi everyone …
Before I write my story, I should point out that fasting of any kind should always be supervised by a doctor or need and you should NOT rush into it uninformed. It can end very dangerous, especially people with illnesses or children or persons in growth are very much at risk!
Since I can remember I was very overweight, even though my parents are very health conscious and lean, I’ve still managed to build a completely unhealthy relationship to food. There was no problem for me, to have a big breakfast, a few hours later go to Mcdonalds with friends to eat at home then another 3-4 bread rolls with Nutella and ice plus another evening cookies. I have tried many diets with nutritionists, with therapists or with (together) personal trainers in the gym. It had no effect, because these greedy bastard, I finally could never conquer in me and in general am a very impatient person.
At some point, I then saw a video on Youtube of a woman’s 120 days (for religious reasons) has been fasting with water only and was shocked, very much like it has taken in a relatively short time. She has at this time, however, taken vitamins every 40 days and 1-2 days eating something small (passover bread or something, say something like religious). I started on the Internet to inform and be advised always depends, warned of the yo-yo effect and so on.
Well, I did not care all that (quite stupid actually) and in a last desperate gasp of quasi – I weighed about 105 kg – I clung to this idea and stopped eating, was the beginning of April last year. The first three days were hell, and I cried in front of the refrigerator, put the food in his hand, smelt it, and trembled in despair … I was just really addicted to it.
However, I persevered and what I found so amazing was how the body works almost perfectly, although I ate nothing. Sure, I could not run a competitive sport, but write for long walks with the dog, mentally awake, and tests like … no problem! I want to be honest, there were times when I felt like shit and wailed without end, just wanted to lie in bed or the next-best pizza in digging into me, but it was very rare. The body is a miracle in my eyes, and modern man … him with kid gloves, dares him to almost nothing and sometimes even breaks together when he has eaten nothing for two days. At least they know what real hunger is real.
I have fasted for about 4 months, or about April to late July and weighed about 62 kg at the end. However, I want to emphasize here: OF COURSE I have not eaten anything for 4 months completely! Then of course I knew I was dead, that the body stores several vitamins in the fat depots, but not all (eg, vitamin C, have a bit more lemon and lemon juice mixed in meat nibbled my drinking) … approximately every 20 days, I made a small lush Shake made with mixed fruit, vegetables and a little oil. A large glass. However, I have relied mainly on my body, I would have collapsed or have been noticed something would IMMEDIATELY stop.
My skin has all coped very well, my … have not disappeared, but my stomach is completely smooth. After fasting I have gained about 3-4 kg (65 kg) and keep this weight now for about 9 months. From a yo-yo effect I’ve noticed nothing personally, I was also aware that I have now weighed significantly less was my basic needs also much lower, therefore I had to get used to “normal” to eat and it works. Sure, I still have my Mcdonalds escapades and sometimes feed a large ice into me, but it’s not like before measurement approximates more … yet sometimes I fast, but only 4-5 days every 2 months or so since I am so feeling good. Most importantly, however, was for me that I have at this time finally found my DISCIPLINE …
I wish you all good luck with your goals, no matter how she approaches her!
